Navy Federal Credit Union
Winchester, Virginia
With roots in the Virginia area, Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) is the world's largest credit union. NFCU announced intentions to double the workforce at the existing Winchester Call Center in the coming years, requiring an overall campus expansion.
MGMA programmed and planned a new multi-story call center for NFCU, designed to accommodate the approximately 1,400 new employees, supporting the financial service needs of U.S. armed forces members and their families.
This NFCU Winchester Building 3 project is a design-build, four-story, 245,000-sf, build-to-suit office building including an open truss pedestrian bridge which is linked to an existing parking garage. Designed to be a 24/7 facility, the building incorporates three 1,500 kW generators capable of N+1back-up. The building comprises a mix of smaller assembly spaces, training rooms, and open office area plus a health facility, fitness center, large assembly rooms, and call center space.
